The carefully selected combination of different plant species in BrassicaPro is designed to improve soil structure and nourish soil organisms. At the same time, the interaction of the different species with the soil can help balance nutrient dynamics. Furthermore, BrassicaPro can suppress weeds without competing with the main crop. The high proportion of legumes narrows the C/N ratio. Filling the empty space between the rapeseed plants serves not only to protect against erosion but can also increase the site’s load-bearing capacity. The latest results from internal trials (2026) also showed a significant reduction in rapeseed flea beetle larvae within the rapeseed plants when winter rapeseed was grown in combination with BrassicaPro.*

BrassicaPro can also be used as a legume-rich cover crop mixture, for example in oilseed rape crop rotations.
