The carefully selected combination of different plant species improves soil structure and provides nutrition for soil organisms. At the same time, the interaction of the various species with the soil can balance nutrient dynamics. In addition, BrassicaPro suppresses weeds without competing with the main crop. The high proportion of legumes has a positive effect on the C/N ratio. Filling the open space between rapeseed plants protects against erosion and increases the field’s load-bearing capacity. The latest results from internal trials (2026) also showed a significant reduction in cabbage stem flea beetle larvae in the rapeseed plants when winter rapeseed and BrassicaPro were grown in combination.
 
BrassicaPro can also be used as a legume-rich cover crop mixture, for example in rapeseed crop rotations.
