Profile
The carefully selected combination of different plant species promotes soil structure and nourishes soil life. The interaction of the different plant species with the soil helps to balance nutrient dynamics. Depending on the location and year, the diverse plant community can, if sufficiently developed, help to suppress weeds without competing with the main crop. The high proportion of legumes has a positive effect on the C/N ratio. Occupying the free space between the rapeseed plants protects against erosion. At the same time, the additional root mass increases humus formation and the load-bearing capacity of the area. BrassicaPro can also be used as a legume-based cover crop mixture, for example in rapeseed crop rotations.
