Profile

The tetraploid annual ryegrass variety ALBERTO achieved an outstanding grade, by the german Federal Plant Variety Office, in the characteristic dry matter yield first cut. Apart from the newly listed DSV variety GLODARO, ALBERTO achieved the maximum score of 8 (BSA 2020), compared to other listed varieties. The high yield in the first cut is secured by a low susceptibility to rust. Thus, ALBERTO is excellently suited for intercropping.
