SolaRigol R is a balanced cover crop mixture specially formulated for potato cultivation. Its diverse species composition is designed to promote an active soil microbiome. The heterogeneous root system helps to improve the soil’s water infiltration capacity and gas exchange. In this way, the soil is well prepared for ridge cultivation. Blue lupin helps to reduce infestation with tobacco rattle virus (TRV), whilst common vetch is intended to combat potato scab. In addition, SolaRigol R contains multi-resistant oil radish, which reduces infestation with root-knot nematodes.
