LAMAR is a sport-type perennial ryegrass with particularly high ratings for sport use, with the highest score of 9 in Germany and also a high-ranking listing in the Netherlands.

Its playability and resilience are outstanding.  But Lamar is not only good for sport, the variety is also above average in terms of shoot density and leaf fineness. Overall, Lamar is therefore an above-average performing variety for use as ornamental turf, but is particularly suitable for sports turf.

The good overall picture is rounded off by a high tolerance to fungal diseases such as crown rust.
