FABRIZIO is DSV's new late diploid Perennial ryegrass with Milk Index. Proven by its listings and recommendations in Germany, France and the Netherlands, FABRIZIO has a wide cultivation suitability for different regions, where it always achieves high yields and good rust resistance. Furthermore, FABRIZIO is a particularly enriching variety due to its very high forage value. It not only showed above-average results in DSV breeding trials, also in the French VCU trials FABRIZIO outclassed the check varieties by 11% in water soluble carbohydrate. In addition, it was granted by the Federal Plant Variety Office with the lowest grade (2) for inflorescence formation in aftermath, which highly contributes to the digestiblity and uptake of the forage. Last but not least it has extraordinary standing ability fot its good 1st cut yield, which prevents forage lodging and increases forage uptake at grazing.
