DAKOTA was selected for yield and persistence with strong winter survival and designed to excel in the Great Plains of Western Canada and Northern US with fall dormancy 4. DAKOTA maintains excellent forage quality and has a strong balanced multiple pest resistance package to give a long stand life. It shows especially high resistance against Phytophtora root rot, even under flooding conditions.
