The diploid, intermediate perennial ryegrass AZERROT is characterized by high and very evenly distributed yield. In the German VCU trial 2020-22, the variety achieved a total yield of rel. 105%, rel. 107% in the first cut and rel. 104% in the subsequent cuts. The very low flowering tendency in the regrowth (score 2) ensures high forage quality and reliable use during the season. As the first variety ever to be provisionally recommended in Bavaria, and also convincing in the Danish recommendation trials, AZERROT sets new standards.
