RADETZKY combines four nematode resistances in one variety: resistance against Heterodera schachtii, category 2 in its German registration, and resistance against Meloidogyne chitwoodi (in potatoes, carrots, salsifies), Meloidogyne falax (in potatoes, carrots, salsifies) and Meloidogyne minor (in potatoes and tomatoes). The excellent nematode resistance of this variety is combined with a low flowering tendency and a very low to low tendency for lodging.
