Horse meadow for new sowings
Mixture for durable, high-quality horse pastures
Profile
This high-quality horse pasture seed mixture has been specifically developed for the needs of horse owners whose grazing areas are subject to heavy daily use from hoof tread and browsing. It is designed to establish a dense, durable sward that remains stable under demanding conditions while providing high-quality, horse-appropriate forage.
Highly tread-tolerant, strong sward-forming grasses create a closed, resilient pasture surface and reduce bare patches and hoof damage over the long term. This keeps pastures productive even with intensive use.
Selected high-quality forage grasses complement the mix, delivering palatable, healthy and fibre-rich feed that supports balanced pasture nutrition for horses. A high proportion of timothy grass further enhances feed value and ensures excellent acceptance.
This mixture is particularly well suited for establishing intensively used horse pastures and paddock grazing areas — supporting healthy horses and durable pasture surfaces.
- Dense, resilient sward – even under intense tread and deep browsing
