Early Double purpose maize

  • strong double purpose maize
  • high starch yields
  • newly registered in Germany

DAVOS is the new double purpose maize of DSV seeds. The variety performed germanwide high grain yields in registration trial. These good cob performances are the basis of a good, and rich in starch silage. Furthermore DAVOS is a hybride, that has a visible dent share in its pedigree. That helps to create a silage with a very high starch availability so that the silage could be used earlier than a pure flint silage. Further characteristics are good tolerances against all major leaf disesases and and a low tillering ability.
