DSV's first subsidiary in South America (Argentina), DSV Semillas, is founded. For a long time, the activities in South America were managed from DSV's head office. Seed is traded and seed production is also carried out in some cases. In order to bundle the activities, a sales office was set up in Argentina, which today serves a large part of the South American markets.
